As done on previous occasions (click here and here to see), I photographed a small range of different doors in Vietnam. Most of the pictures are from Hoi An though, I have noticed that the further south I go the more difficult are the doors. Most people leave them open during the day so I included some gates. Yours, Pollybert
The last couple of trips I have posted pictures of doors as seen here and here. Now when I went through my China pictures I noticed that I only had a few pictures of doors so I used some portals too. Maybe it is because I have rarely walked through residential areas except for Beijing. So it is misleading to call the post the doors of China because all doors are from Beijing. Yours, Pollybert
As done already on previous occasions here are the doors (and door frames) of Nepal. Since we only visited Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Chitwan and Pokhara I make no claim for it to be complete. Furthermore these are only examples on the Nepalese door style. I might put a manhole cover somewhere in between, so beware. Yours, Pollybert
Taking pictures of doors started innocently enough (click here) but then became part of my ‘thing’ (click here). So now whenever I go on a trip I search for nice and/or different doors to show to you.
All pictures were taken during our walks around the city. Since we mostly strolled through Schöneberg, Berlin Mitte and the Scheunenviertel these pictures here are not representative for all of Berlin. Please enjoy.
