This is me, Pollybert!

ich_Ios_neu2I am Pollybert and I want you to have fun while reading this blog. Let your thoughts go with me on my trips, while I enjoy or criticize food, read books or just navigate everyday life.

Traveling and reading are my favorite past-times, besides meeting friends or getting to know new people. I also love to eat and cook, always trying new restaurants or recipes. Traveling, reading and eating complement each other well as you can see on my blog.

Especially reading is something I can do wherever and whenever. I was able to read before starting school and since then I have kept at it. There is always a book in my bag, sometimes even two. I just never thought I could write; or that anyone would want to read it. Fast forward many years to an afternoon in the kitchen of friend were I wrote in her daughter’s friendship book that I want to become a writer when I grow up. That’s when I decided to follow my younger self’s dream and start doing what I like best. Travel, read, eat and write about all the experiences.

I do hope you enjoy reading my blog and I would love it if you drop me a line or follow me into all kinds of adventures. Life is beautiful and needs to be lived to the fullest. I love to do that on a higher level, always living at the fullest.

  1. I am also travel obsessed and love reading… could live my life doing both of those however, I prefer to eat food prepared by others :) Just found your latest post on trekking in Nepal and was wondering if that was a current post. The pics are lovely and it is something that I have wanted to do at some point. Have been to Nepal but didn’t trek as it was the wrong season. Annapurna has changed over the years (a highway built I think?) but did this change the trekking at all for you? Take care and happy travels. I look forward to following you along the way. Cheryl

    • Hey Cheryl, thanks for stopping by. The trekking in Nepal happened at the end of April. Due to slow internet connection and now blocking in China I am not really up-to-date with the blog but eventually will post all my adventures.
